The European Commission has officially approved the import of honey from Kyrgyzstan into the territory of the European Union. This product has been included in a special list of the EU technical regulation, confirming that the control and certification system in Kyrgyzstan meets strict European standards.
This decision is the result of long-term efforts by the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan to implement international standards. Previously, Kyrgyz producers faced difficulties in exporting their products to Europe due to stringent certification requirements.
Inclusion in the registry will open new sales opportunities and increase the competitiveness of Kyrgyz honey in the international market. The Ministry of Agriculture emphasized that they intend to continue working on promoting other types of domestic products in the European Union markets.
