
The European Commission has approved the initiative for the export of honey from Kyrgyzstan, including it in a special list of technical regulations that allow the import of products into the EU territory. This information was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the provided data, this decision confirms that the national control and certification system in Kyrgyzstan meets the standards of the European Union.
“This decision will have a positive impact on expanding market opportunities for Kyrgyz honey producers and will enhance the competitiveness of our products on the international stage. Previously, we faced difficulties entering the European market due to strict certification requirements, but now export has become possible. The Ministry of Agriculture will continue to work on expanding the list of goods that can be presented in the European Union market,” the official statement notes.
