This new body will bring together government institutions, financial organizations, educational institutions, and international partners, which should contribute to increasing transparency and efficiency in policy in this area.
The secretariat of the consortium is entrusted to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, which will coordinate the activities of all participants and monitor the implementation of the adopted decisions.
The document notes that the decisions of the consortium's coordinating council will be mandatory for all its members, including government bodies. Ministries are required to provide necessary support and interact with the consortium on important areas of small and medium-sized business development.
The Cabinet of Ministers has been tasked with developing a Support and Development Program for SMEs until 2030 by the second quarter of 2026, which will include:
- the development of youth entrepreneurship and the use of the country's innovative potential;
- support for women’s entrepreneurship and the expansion of economic opportunities for women;
- support for social business and the creation of jobs for vulnerable groups;
- the development of entrepreneurship in the regions;
- the formation of production clusters and the enhancement of technological competitiveness;
- the development of the creative economy with an emphasis on innovation and export.
The document will be officially published and will come into effect in 10 days.
