On February 6 of this year, the regulator conducted a sale of foreign currency on the interbank market amounting to $109.95 million. Of this amount, $65.5 million were transactions settled on the same day, while $44.45 million were operations settled at a later date.
Since the beginning of 2026, the total volume of currency sales has reached $244 million.
It is worth noting that the first intervention this year was conducted by the National Bank on January 19, selling $134.05 million on the interbank market.
Last year, the regulator carried out eight interventions, with a total volume of $853 million, and in December, the highest sale was recorded at $179.5 million.
