In Kyrgyzstan, 40 trade and logistics centers will be built by 2030

As of today, there are 40 trade and logistics centers operating in Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry. These centers either operate alongside processing enterprises or function as independent entities, facilitating the export of products.

According to the ministry's information, there are 483 registered processing enterprises in the country, representing medium and large capacities.

All operational trade and logistics centers are equipped with warehouse facilities and specialized sections for the storage and freezing of both raw materials and finished products. Additionally, these centers carry out packaging, labeling, certification, and transportation of agricultural products.

In 2026, the opening of 75 new processing enterprises is expected, including 8 trade and logistics centers.

According to the development strategy until 2030, it is planned to build another 40 trade and logistics centers across the country.

The ministry emphasizes that the creation of such centers is aimed at optimizing the management of export-import flows, as well as ensuring efficient storage, processing, and distribution of agricultural products.

The process of creating a trade and logistics center includes several key stages. First, it is necessary to define the project goals, choose a location, and develop a business model. Then, a site plan and infrastructure are developed, after which construction permits are obtained.

During the construction phase, warehouse complexes and administrative buildings are built, modern equipment and information systems are installed. Next, the processes of receiving, storing, and shipping goods are optimized, and electronic document management systems and digital services for clients are implemented.

An important part is the selection and training of personnel, the introduction of motivational mechanisms, and the system of key performance indicators (KPI). Connections with transport companies and retail chains are established, and cooperation with government agencies is strengthened.

The new centers undergo trial operation, after which their effectiveness is assessed. In the future, it is planned to expand the range of services and implement innovative technologies such as process automation, e-commerce, and blockchain solutions.
