According to an analysis conducted by the OSCE, the impact of small and medium-sized enterprises on Kyrgyzstan's GDP in 2024 shows that many SMEs, including microbusinesses, as well as enterprises led by women and youth, still face difficulties in obtaining long-term and accessible financing. This is due to high collateral requirements and interest rates on loans, as well as insufficient coverage of current support programs. In this regard, the Ministry of Economy noted that at least 40% of women should be participants in new initiatives to support small and medium-sized businesses by 2030.
