According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan, there are currently 40 trade and logistics centers operating that facilitate the export of products. These facilities operate both as part of processing enterprises and independently. The republic has registered 483 medium and large enterprises in the processing sector. These logistics centers are typically equipped with warehouses, blocks for freezing raw materials, as well as bases for packaging, labeling, certification, and transportation of agricultural products.
The development of this sector continues to gain momentum. In 2026, the opening of an additional 75 processing enterprises is planned in the republic, among which 8 will be trade and logistics centers. According to the development strategy until 2030, the construction of 40 additional logistics facilities is also anticipated. The ministry emphasizes that such centers are necessary for improving the management of export-import flows, as well as for the quality storage and distribution of goods.
The creation of modern trade and logistics centers includes a full cycle of work: from designing business models and constructing high-tech warehouses to implementing information systems and digital services. A crucial stage is the automation of processes, the transition to electronic document management, and training employees according to the KPI system. In the future, there are plans to expand the range of services at the new sites through the integration of solutions in the field of e-commerce and blockchain technologies, which will optimize interaction with transport companies and government authorities.
