During the meeting, mechanisms for resuming the operation of idle capacities were discussed. Issues related to involving unused production facilities in the economic turnover were addressed. It turned out that there are many industrial facilities in the area with developed engineering and transportation systems, as well as convenient locations. At the same time, investors often face a shortage of ready-made sites, which forces them to convert agricultural lands, extending the timelines for their projects.
In this regard, idle enterprises are viewed as an important element for the reindustrialization of the region.
The presidential representative Azamat Osmonov emphasized that the state's goal is not to seize or redistribute property. The presidential representation acts as an initiator of dialogue and a guarantor of transparency, ready to defend the interests of owners in negotiations with potential investors.
Enterprise owners were offered a mechanism for voluntary cooperation with investors. This mechanism includes various forms of interaction: leasing, creating joint ventures, selling shares, or fully realizing assets. Cooperation will be formalized through memorandums and, if necessary, contracts.
Representatives of the presidential representation expect that the implementation of this initiative will create new jobs, increase tax revenues, reduce the burden on agricultural lands, and form a registry of ready industrial sites in the Chuy region.
