The Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service, Elnura Mambetjunusheva, reported at a meeting of the relevant committee of the Jogorku Kenesh that the issues with the transportation of textile products from Kyrgyzstan to Russia have been practically resolved. Currently, only six trucks are detained at the border for inspection.

She noted that an action algorithm has been developed with the Federal Customs Service of Russia. The Russian side will now quickly inform Kyrgyzstan about the reasons for cargo delays, while the customs service of Kyrgyzstan will strive to promptly resolve any arising issues.

However, Deputy Jumabek Salymbekov expressed disagreement with these statements. According to him, trucks are still not crossing the border, and the problem remains relevant.

Moreover, the parliamentarian emphasized that the president has taken the issue under personal control and has given appropriate instructions, which is why he demands real measures to eliminate barriers.

The textile industry in Kyrgyzstan is experiencing a serious crisis due to tightened control at the border with Kazakhstan by the Russian Federation. The situation has remained complicated since September, when Russian customers have not received their goods for several months, while Kyrgyz producers are left unpaid for completed orders.
