Kyrgyzstan will build a trade and logistics hub in Novosibirsk

The Kyrgyz Republic is launching a project to construct a trade and logistics center in the Novosibirsk region, which will be capable of storing up to 20,000 tons of agricultural products, as reported by the "Kyrgyz Export" center.

This infrastructure facility will become an important link in the process of supplying Kyrgyz goods to the Russian market.

It is planned that the center's functionality will not be limited to just storing goods: it will also be equipped for the primary processing and preparation of fruits and vegetables for sale. Special attention is being paid to sanitary and hygienic standards and ensuring optimal storage conditions, which is extremely important for maintaining the quality of perishable goods in the harsh conditions of the Siberian climate.

In addition to the project in Siberia, the possibility of creating a similar logistics facility in Central Asia is being considered. Plans include the construction of such a center in the suburbs of Almaty, where a plot of land ranging from 10 to 20 hectares has already been allocated.

The initiative to create a logistics hub in Novosibirsk demonstrates Bishkek's desire to expand export infrastructure and strengthen its position in the Russian market. The successful completion of the project, which is currently at the stage of technical and economic justification, could serve as an example for further development of cooperation in the agro-industrial sector among the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
