On March 1, 2026, the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic announced the completion of the campaign for the legalization of jewelry products.
During this initiative, 942 entrepreneurs legalized jewelry worth approximately 16.8 billion soms. In addition, 1,604 electronic invoices were registered.
In the process of legalization, information about jewelry products without supporting documents was entered into the tax service's database. This, as emphasized, will improve accounting and control over the turnover of products in this area.
The State Tax Service noted that this campaign is an important step towards improving tax administration, increasing economic transparency, and strengthening trust in the ongoing economic reforms.
The campaign was carried out in accordance with the presidential decree "On measures to support certain sectors of the economy." The tax service also added that they will continue to cooperate with the business community to ensure compliance with legislation and create equal conditions for all entrepreneurs.
