The tax service has announced special conditions and a simplified procedure for legalization
The State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic informs that until March 1, 2026, entrepreneurs have the opportunity to legalize jewelry made of precious metals, even if they lack primary documents.
This applies to the remaining items that were imported or produced earlier. Legalization provides for exemption from tax liability and simplification for the tax agent.
Additionally, during this period, reduced rates for assay fees are in effect:
- for items made of gold, platinum, and palladium — 10 soms for each item;
- for silver items — 8 soms for each item.
These benefits apply to both domestically produced items and imported ones, including used items.
To process the legalization before March 1, it is necessary to create an electronic document through the electronic invoice system on the website esf.salyk.kg, selecting the section “Acquisition” — DPBU — “Entering information about precious jewelry.”
The STS warns: the document is not subject to changes, so all entered data must be accurate and error-free.
