The registration process was carried out by the State Service for Regulation and Supervision of Financial Markets.
USDKG, pegged to the US dollar (1 USDKG = 1 dollar), represents a unique asset that combines the reliability of gold with modern blockchain technology. Kyrgyzstan has become the first country to officially introduce a state-backed stablecoin secured by gold.
The first issuance of USDKG and its listing on centralized and decentralized platforms are planned for the coming days.
The issuance is part of a pilot project aimed at developing the digital economy and strengthening the financial sovereignty of the country. A separate notification with detailed information on the mechanism, volume, and release date will be issued soon.
