The congress 'Central Asia: Common Spiritual and Enlightenment Heritage - Common Future' has started in Tashkent.







The international forum titled "Central Asia: Common Spiritual and Enlightenment Heritage - Common Future" has begun in Tashkent.

The venue is the Center for Islamic Civilization.

About 300 specialists are attending the event, including scholars and education representatives from various countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan.

The congress was initiated by the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The forum was opened with a video address from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the participants.

He emphasized that in the face of escalating conflicts in different parts of the world, it is important to learn from the lessons of history, maintain stability and peace, and rely on science and education to strengthen mutual understanding between peoples and develop inter-civilizational dialogue.

"I am confident that this forum, aimed at strengthening friendship and cooperation between our countries, will become an important platform for scientific and cultural exchange. I hope that during the congress, new projects in the field of science and education will be developed to help strengthen the spiritual and cultural ties between our states," he noted.
