— Hello! This mosque will not just be a place for prayer but also an educational institution — a madrasah, where children will be able to receive education and study religion.
It is important to note that there is a rise of various movements within the Islamic community, some of which can be destructive. This leads to disputes among Kyrgyz about the correctness of the chosen path. Our goal is to organize these disagreements and come to a common understanding.
Education in the field of religion has become an important aspect for our state, especially considering that young people used to go abroad for religious education and sometimes fell under negative influences.
Now we intend to educate children up to 18 years old in Kyrgyzstan, guiding them on the right path. Graduates of the madrasah will be able to continue their studies at the Islamic Academy opened in Tokmok.
These steps are aimed at creating a unified system of religious education in the country. There are about four thousand mosques in Kyrgyzstan, and graduates of the madrasah and the academy will be appointed as imams in them, which will help reduce disagreements and prevent splits in society.
If necessary, the state will provide support. Khabibulla is developing his hotel as an independent business, and the mosque is his gift to the people. We must create conditions for investors to work, not criticize them.
Khabibulla could have limited himself to just the hotel, but he is voluntarily building a mosque for several thousand people, with a madrasah and a dormitory. There is no personal gain in this.
After the construction is completed, the mosque will be fully transferred to the Kyrgyz side, and he has promised to assist with its maintenance in the future.
