In a recent interview with our agency, President Sadyr Japarov spoke about a significant project involving the construction of a mosque worth 55 million dollars, which is being carried out by entrepreneur Abdukadir Habibulla at the site of the "Naryn" restaurant, where a five-star hotel is also planned to be built.

Many of our readers, especially those interested in religious issues, are asking questions: "What does this mosque represent? Are there hidden interests here?"

- Hello! This will not just be a mosque, but also an educational institution where a madrasa will open. The goal is for children to be able to live there, receive education, and study religious disciplines in a systematic way.

In the modern world, the diversity of directions in Islam has significantly increased, and there are currently about 10-15 movements, some of which are potentially dangerous.

Disputes often arise among Kyrgyz: "Your path is wrong," "No, yours is," and so on. Our goal is to organize this and establish a unified approach to religion.

Thus, religious literacy becomes an extremely important issue for our state.

Previously, young people went abroad for religious education, which sometimes led to negative influences due to a lack of control.

Now we will be able to educate children up to 18 years old on their native land and guide them on the right path.

Graduates of the madrasa will be able to continue their studies at the Islamic Academy located in Tokmok.

All these measures are aimed at creating a unified system of religious education in the country.

Currently, there are about four thousand mosques in Kyrgyzstan, where imams who graduated from the madrasa and the academy will be appointed, which will help reduce disagreements and prevent schisms.

If necessary, the state will provide the necessary support.

Entrepreneur Habibulla considers his hotel as a separate business, while the mosque is his gift to the people. We should not divide investors into "such" and "others" or criticize them; on the contrary, we should create conditions for them to work.

Although he could focus solely on the hotel, he took the initiative to build a mosque that can accommodate several thousand people, with a madrasa and dormitory, without seeking any personal gain.

Upon completion of construction, the mosque will be fully transferred to the Kyrgyz side, and moreover, Habibulla has promised to provide support for its further maintenance.
