Shailoobek Atazov, who represented the VII convocation, planned to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections; however, he was denied registration in the multi-mandate electoral district No. 6.
As reported by the Main Department for Crime Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on October 23, Atazov had been on preventive and operational-preventive registration since 2024 as a person associated with an organized criminal group. This information was reviewed by a working group that included the candidate himself.
Additionally, according to information from the Border Service of the GKNB, Atazov violated the rule of permanent residence in Kyrgyzstan, having been outside the country for more than five years. It was established that from March to November 2024, he spent 260 days abroad.
