According to the prosecutor's office, during the operations it was revealed that UAE intelligence agents, using a number obtained from one of the mobile operators in Turkey, attempted to establish contact with key employees of defense enterprises, employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and representatives of foreign states located in Turkey through fake profiles, with the aim of gathering biographical information about workers in strategic positions.
Four individuals were also discovered who, acting on the instructions of UAE intelligence officers, acquired a GSM number from one of the Turkish operators, then sent it to the United Arab Emirates and handed it over to the intelligence agents for carrying out the aforementioned operations.
As part of today's operation to detain these individuals and seize evidence, three suspects were detained, and a warrant for the arrest of the fourth suspect, who is abroad, was issued.
