During his bilateral meeting with the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, Vladimir Putin emphasized that he is pleased to see how freely and widely the Russian language is used in the republic, which has official status according to the Constitution.
The President of Russia noted the importance of this language in various spheres of life and expressed support from the Russian leadership.
Putin also added that it is symbolic that the Eurasian Center for the Russian Language and Culture was opened in Bishkek the day before their meeting, and a new Russian-language television channel "Nomad TV" was launched.
Today, a meeting took place between the leaders of Kyrgyzstan and Russia, resulting in the signing of a document aimed at deepening cooperation between the two countries.
