Tynchtyk Shaynazaro, the chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic, voted on November 30 at polling station No. 9134, located in the Sverdlovsk district of Bishkek. He took advantage of the opportunity for remote voting, as he is registered in district No. 8 in the Osh region.

Before voting, Shaynazaro visually demonstrated the entire voting process, starting with identification. Voters can provide one of three documents: an international passport, a domestic ID passport, or use the "Tündük" application for voting.

The head of the CEC went through identification via the "Tündük" application and cast his vote. A ballot from his electoral district No. 8 was printed for him, and he voted for a candidate. The entire process took less than a minute, and the equipment can serve up to 720 voters in 12 hours. If there is a need to replace the ballot paper, it takes only 3-4 seconds.

Shaynazaro emphasized that the automated management system (AMS) operates smoothly at all polling stations, although rare cases related to human factors may occur, which are quickly resolved. He also reminded voters that before dropping the ballot into the box, it should not be bent.

At the polling station where the voting took place, there were international observers from different countries. Shaynazaro reported that 778 international observers from 58 countries were accredited for the elections.

After the voting was completed, the head of the CEC attempted to vote again at another polling station; however, the device signaled that he had already voted, preventing the possibility of double voting.

Thus, Shaynazaro noted that the equipment used guarantees that double voting is excluded.
