Head of the KR Cabinet – OSCE: The executive power completely refrained from interfering in the elections

During a meeting with Tamash Meserich, head of the OSCE/ODIHR observation mission, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev discussed the current situation regarding the elections. The press service of the cabinet reported this event.

Kasymaliev noted that the voting taking place today is proceeding without violations, and citizens can freely exercise their right to vote. He also emphasized that the work of the polling stations is being conducted in accordance with legislative norms.

At the same time, he pointed out that the executive authorities have completely refrained from any interference in the electoral process and have focused on ensuring order, logistics, and supporting the work of the electoral commissions both within the country and abroad.

Furthermore, Kasymaliev highlighted the importance of recommendations from international partners and confirmed that all conclusions presented in the final report of the OSCE/ODIHR mission, expected tomorrow, will be taken into account in the further improvement of Kyrgyzstan's electoral system.

Tamash Meserich thanked Kasymaliev for the constructive dialogue and exchange of information.
