During the IV People's Kurultai, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Elvira Surabaldiyeva noted that the president's call to "not praise the authorities" was quite timely and justified.
She emphasized that the time allocated for the speeches of the delegates should be used to discuss the most relevant and pressing issues.
“Each region is represented by one delegate, and behind each of them are the problems of entire rural administrations. There are also representatives of government bodies present, so delegates must clearly articulate their requests. It is impractical to waste time praising the authorities. Many citizens do not have the opportunity to directly address the president, and that is why raising this issue from his side is very important,” she noted.
