
As part of the EPS program, two stages of testing for knowledge of the Korean language were conducted. Out of 1,350 exam participants, 339 successfully passed, and labor contracts were signed with 225 candidates. As a result, 232 citizens of Kyrgyzstan went to work, including 30 women.
The employed Kyrgyz citizens are engaged in enterprises across various sectors, including food, chemical, and paper industries, as well as in factories producing plastic, rubber, and glass products. The average salary level is about 1,700 US dollars. Currently, more than 1,500 citizens of Kyrgyzstan are working in the Republic of Korea under the EPS program.
