The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration, through the Center for Employment of Citizens Abroad, has published the results of its activities for the recent reporting period, highlighting the main achievements in the employment of Kyrgyz citizens abroad.
According to the report, 10 meetings of the interdepartmental commission were held, which dealt with the consideration of applications for permits to work outside the country. As a result, 143 permits were issued, while 51 applications remained under review, of which 22 were unpaid. 19 applicants were denied.
Since the beginning of the current year, private employment agencies have managed to place 17,167 citizens of Kyrgyzstan, among whom 6,957 are women. The main areas of employment include:
- United Kingdom — 5,284 people,
- Turkey — 5,287,
- Germany — 2,707,
- Bulgarian — 1,273,
- Russia — 1,463.
According to the information, the republican budget received 572,000 soms from the issuance of permits. In addition, the center helped recover money for 20 citizens who were victims of unscrupulous employers, totaling 1,130,603 soms.
An important aspect of the institution's work is the regulation of the employment process, protection of migrant rights, and increasing the efficiency of employment agencies.
