Since the beginning of the current year, private employment agencies have helped more than 17,000 citizens of Kyrgyzstan find jobs abroad. This was reported by representatives of the employment center under the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration.

During the reporting period, 10 meetings of the interdepartmental commission were held, which dealt with the consideration of applications for permits for the employment of citizens abroad. As a result, 143 permits were issued, 206 applications were received, 19 of which were denied, and 51 applications are still under review (including 22 that have not been paid for).

Among those employed, there are 6,957 women, and the most popular destinations for Kyrgyz citizens turned out to be the United Kingdom (5,284 people), Turkey (5,287), Germany (2,707), Bulgaria (1,273), and Russia (1,463). The remaining citizens found jobs in other European and Asian countries, as well as on cruise liners and in several Arab states.

From the issuance of permits, 572,000 soms were received in the republican budget. In addition, the center assisted 20 citizens in recovering funds from employers amounting to 1,130,603 soms, which were unlawfully withheld.

These actions are aimed at improving the process of organized employment, protecting the rights of labor migrants, and increasing the efficiency of private employment agencies.
