This decision was made to ensure the stable operation of the energy system of the Kyrgyz Republic during peak load periods. The Ministry emphasizes that it is working continuously with the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Naryn region and local administrations to provide the population with coal.
Moreover, joint raids are being conducted with antimonopoly authorities aimed at preventing unjustified price increases for coal. As a result of inspections, no instances of price gouging have been recorded.
As of today, the price of coal in the Naryn region does not exceed 5,500 soms, and the total stock of solid fuel is over 3,000 tons. Of this, about 1,500 tons is stored at the social fuel bases of OJSC "Kyrgyzkomur," as reported by the Ministry of Energy.
