In 2025, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, made 19 trips abroad, as reported at a press conference by Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev. Of these, three visits were official, while the remaining sixteen were working visits. The minister emphasized that despite the challenging international situation, Kyrgyzstan managed to maintain activity in economic diplomacy, signing more than ten agreements and developing several long-term cooperation plans.
The country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also conducted 16 visits, of which six were official, ten were working, and one was online. “The main focus was on the CIS and Central Asia, as these regions represent key priorities for the country’s stability. A significant visit to New York was also conducted, related to Kyrgyzstan's participation in the work of the UN Security Council, which included meetings with UN Secretary-General António Guterres and representatives of Caribbean countries,” Kulubaev noted.

Kulubaev highlighted the successful completion of the border settlement process with Tajikistan as the main achievement of 2025. In March, an intergovernmental treaty was signed, which concluded one of the longest and most difficult negotiation processes in the history of Central Asia.
