He emphasized that this issue is related to quite complex preferential relations between the two countries. "Russia adheres to a strict migration policy. Throughout 2024-2025, we have been constantly working with our Russian partners and managed to remove some citizens from the blacklist. However, the 90/180 rule remains unchanged, as these are internal decisions of the Russian migration service, and we are unable to intervene. A similar system also exists in our country," Kulubaev noted.
The minister added that citizens of Kyrgyzstan must monitor the legality of their stay in Russia.Kulubaev also pointed out that under the conditions of martial law in Russia, no easing of migration conditions should be expected. "We recommend that everyone put their documents in order, but for now, it does not seem possible to change the 90/180 regime," he concluded.
