- During the meeting of the "Ala-Too" parliamentary group on January 16, 2026, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Talaybek Masabirov emphasized that since Kyrgyzstan joined the EAEU in 2015, one of the main difficulties faced by domestic producers remains the lack of necessary laboratory infrastructure.

He specified that this issue concerns not only agricultural products but also the sewing industry and other sectors.

Masabirov added that some goods sent to Russia are being returned. "Currently, this situation is observed in the sewing industry. We should have a logistics center, but there is none in Kyrgyzstan!" he expressed his bewilderment.

Economy Minister Bakyt Sydykov noted that a dedicated trade and logistics center (TLC) will be built on an area of 228 hectares as part of the Wildberries project. He reported that around 6,700 jobs are expected to be created at this facility, as well as warehouses to be constructed. "The construction of the logistics center is planned to be completed by 2028," the minister added.

During the discussion, Masabirov also emphasized that enterprises in the sewing industry need loans with low interest rates, stressing that the light industry is one of the key components of Kyrgyzstan's economy.
