According to the city administration, the authorities plan a comprehensive improvement, including the creation of a walking area on Auezov Street. As part of this work, it is planned to demolish all buildings along the canal.
Vice Mayor Ramiz Aliyev, conducting a live broadcast from the site, showed the area where the park will be located and shared plans for the construction of a new bridge. "Imagine how long this park will be... And there will be a new bridge," he noted, joking about the possible emergence of a "Manhattan" in this area.
In addition to the projects in "Alamedin," the city administration also announced the construction of new bridges and parking lots. A 28-meter bridge is planned to be built on the section from Shabdan Baatyr Street to Sagymbay Manaschy Street, while a six-lane bridge will be constructed on Jibek Jolu Avenue. During the work, deficiencies in the fencing were identified, and the mayor ordered the termination of the contract with the contractor.
Additionally, a multi-level parking lot is planned to be built on Sagymbay Manaschy Street, and along Shabdan Baatyr Street, the authorities intend to create a promenade with pedestrian paths, benches, and bike lanes.
