President Sadyr Japarov visited the State Center for Vehicle and Driver Registration on February 3. During a meeting with representatives of the center, he familiarized himself with the conditions for conducting exams and the theoretical training of candidates for obtaining driver's licenses.

During the visit, the president was shown how the exam is conducted using modern technologies, including artificial intelligence. This testing system completely eliminates human intervention: the exam is conducted automatically, without the involvement of examiners.

The system tracks the movement of the trainee's head, and if they turn away from the screen, it is considered a violation. Additionally, if any outsiders appear in the camera's field of view, the test results may be annulled.

After this, Sadyr Japarov met with the trainees and leaders of private driving schools, explaining measures to reduce the number of traffic accidents related to traffic rule violations.

He pointed out that there had long been corruption schemes in the driver training system, which led to over 90% of students from private driving schools passing exams, despite their low level of knowledge.

The president noted that with the start of the fight against corruption, increased control, and changes in personnel, the situation has significantly improved. Now, thanks to a strict and transparent exam procedure, the pass rate has dropped to 18-20%, which more accurately reflects the level of driver training.

Sadyr Japarov assured that with increased control and the elimination of the human factor, the possibility of illegal obtaining of licenses will be completely eliminated, and the exam process will become fairer.

In this context, he provided statistics: over the past ten years, there have been about 75,000 traffic accidents in the country, resulting in the deaths of 9,120 people.

The president also reported that one of the directors of private driving schools illegally privatized about 70 training facilities, some of which were transferred to private individuals, and about 40 were used for personal gain.

The head of state emphasized that all these driving schools will be returned to state ownership, and training in them will be conducted according to unified standards, with a course duration of ten months. The main focus will be on improving the quality of theoretical and practical training and fostering a culture of safe behavior on the road.

Sadyr Japarov noted that the nine-month training period does not imply mandatory daily attendance. The educational process will be organized with consideration of modern technologies, with classes several times a week and the possibility of online learning, allowing students to combine study with work.

This approach will provide trainees with the necessary conditions to master the theory and practice of safe driving. In the future, passing exams will be possible immediately after completing secondary school, which will help to instill a culture of adherence to traffic rules from an early age.

At the meeting, trainees had the opportunity to ask the president questions and propose ideas for improving the driver training system and enhancing road safety.
