As for the Changan CS75 Plus model, owners note not only frequent problems with the suspension and cooling system but also serious malfunctions of the automatic transmission. The causes of these breakdowns are often low-quality transmission oil and untimely maintenance. The classic automatic transmission in this crossover usually does not last more than 120,000 kilometers without significant issues.
Despite its relatively recent entry into the market, the GAC GS8 also faces problems with automatic transmissions. The main complaints from users are related to the unstable operation of the torque converter and accelerated wear of components. GAC GS8 owners report needing to replace key transmission components every 130,000 to 150,000 kilometers. Regular maintenance may slightly extend the lifespan, but avoiding significant costs is nearly impossible, according to the expert.
