On February 12, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the President's Administration of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, attended the ceremony of handing over the keys to new buses and special equipment to the Bishkek city administration.

According to information from the Cabinet, the city administration received 95 new buses and 42 units of specialized equipment. The ceremony took place at Depot No. 1.

“Today we are handing over 95 modern buses and 42 units of special equipment for the Bishkek city administration. This is a significant step in the process of renewing public transport and urban services. The priorities of the city administration remain the development of the city, improving ecology, and creating comfortable conditions for residents. We have planted over 17,000 trees and increased green areas. A modern eco-technology plant for the disposal of solid household waste and the production of electricity has been launched.

New kindergartens and schools have also been built, as well as underground passages, creating safe and convenient conditions for citizens. All these actions are being carried out by the Bishkek city administration systematically and purposefully,” noted the head of the Cabinet.

Kasymaliev added that work on the technical equipping of municipal enterprises will continue. He urged city service employees to responsibly use the new equipment and improve the quality of services provided to the population.

“Each vehicle and unit of equipment is an important resource for the residents of the city. Careful and proper use, justifying the trust of citizens is the direct duty of each of you,” he emphasized, adding that the new buses and equipment will serve as an additional incentive for the city's development, expanding the capabilities of municipal services and facilitating their work.

It should be noted that the 12-meter Youtong buses were purchased under the program of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Among the 42 units of special equipment purchased with budget funds are emergency brigade vehicles, dump trucks, hydraulic cranes, JAC T-6 vehicles, as well as trench vibratory rollers.
