
At a working meeting organized by the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kanbek Dosmambetov, key issues regarding the creation of the National Laboratory Service and the optimization of medical waste management were discussed.
During the discussion, steps were proposed to create an effective laboratory diagnostic system aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of medical care for citizens. Meeting participants noted that the new concept includes the formation of a unified national structure for laboratory diagnostics that will integrate both state and private enterprises under common quality and management standards.
An important aspect of the discussion was the implementation of international standards in the laboratory service, as well as the use of digital solutions for control and monitoring, which will allow for the rational distribution of laboratory resources and enhance the reliability of the results obtained.
Additionally, the meeting addressed issues related to medical waste management: participants spoke about the need to strengthen state control and implement modern technologies for their disinfection and disposal. Invited experts offered their ideas on the structure and standardization of laboratory operations, as well as the medical waste management system.
Kanbek Dosmambetov emphasized that the development of the laboratory service and effective management of medical waste play a significant role in the state policy in the field of healthcare, which, in turn, affects disease prevention, timely diagnosis, and the overall health of the population.
At the end of the meeting, relevant services received instructions on the next steps for improving the specified areas and the phased implementation of planned activities.
