— I did not indicate to anyone the need to leave. Let them continue to work. If someone decides to leave voluntarily, we will not hold them back. However, if facts of embezzlement are revealed, everyone will be held accountable, regardless of their connections.
I have never appointed my relatives to high positions. Even when I was criticized for having "two in-laws in power," I insisted on their departure, despite the fact that they held their positions before my appointment.
— Is there a risk of a coup?
— This is impossible. Neither the laws nor the current situation support this. The country should be governed by reason, not by force. Where are Kurmanbek Bakiev and Almazbek Atambayev now?
We must learn from our past. I work 20 hours a day to monitor the situation. Mistakes do happen, but 70–80% of processes are under control.
— Will the crime rate increase?
— We no longer have organized crime and we will not have it. It is impossible to completely eradicate crime, but we will remove the "watchers" and "authorities." Many of them are already in prison or abroad.
Kyrgyzstan has changed since 2020. We are not dealing with criminals.
As for corruption, it is present everywhere. Even in Singapore, which is considered a model, the level of corruption is 15–16%. It is impossible to completely eliminate it, but we will strive to reduce this level.

— Were you able to meet with Kamchybek Tashiev after his departure?
— Yes, I met with him yesterday evening. I advised him to rest and take care of his health. According to him, he did not communicate with "advisors." It seems that some acted behind his back and did him a "disservice."
