In Kyrgyzstan, four publications have been merged into one state institution – the Information and Publishing House 'Kyrgyz Tuusu'

A decision has been made in Kyrgyzstan to create a new state media organization – the Information and Publishing House 'Kyrgyz Tuusu'. The corresponding decree was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev.

This decision is part of the implementation of the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, aimed at establishing a new institution whose goal is to develop state mass media.

The Information and Publishing House 'Kyrgyz Tuusu' was formed by merging four previously existing publications: the Publishing House 'Kyrgyz Tuusu', the Publishing House 'Slovo Kyrgyzstana', the editorial office of the children's magazine 'Baichchekey', and the editorial office of the literary and artistic magazine 'Ala-Too'.

The creation of a unified media organization has become an important step towards modernizing the state media system, which should enhance their effectiveness and strengthen the information space of the country.

The measures taken will also help establish the necessary conditions for implementing a unified editorial policy within the framework of the state information strategy and improve the management of state media. This, in turn, will contribute to more effective production and distribution of content.

As part of the decree, the regulations for the new institution were approved, and the maximum staffing levels, multiplicity coefficients, and qualification requirements for employees were defined.

The structure of the new Information and Publishing House includes the nationwide newspapers 'Kyrgyz Tuusu' and 'Slovo Kyrgyzstana', as well as the children's magazine 'Baichchekey' and the literary and artistic magazine 'Ala-Too'.
