
The decree signed by President Sadyr Japarov initiates the creation of the state publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu." The press service of the head of state reports that this decision is aimed at developing state information policy, improving the printing infrastructure, as well as ensuring the sustainable operation of state mass media and optimizing budget expenditures.
According to the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers is instructed to merge several significant media structures, including the publishing houses "Kyrgyz Tuusu" and "Slovo Kyrgyzstana," the children's magazine "Baichichekey," and the literary-art magazine "Ala-Too." As a result of this merger, a unified state publishing house "Kyrgyz Tuusu" will be created. At the same time, the editorial offices of the newspaper "Zhetkinchek" and the magazine "Kyrchin" will be abolished.
The Cabinet of Ministers is also tasked with developing and approving the regulations for the new institution, its staffing schedule, and budget. It is specified that the number of employees in cultural, artistic, and informational institutions will increase by 22 positions. The decree comes into effect from the moment of its official publication.
