This resolution was adopted to implement the presidential decree aimed at creating a state institution that ensures the development of state mass media.
The establishment of a unified information and publishing house is seen as a step towards modernizing the state media system, which should enhance their effectiveness and strengthen the information space of the country.
According to representatives of the government, such decisions will create the necessary conditions for implementing a unified editorial policy within the framework of the state information strategy and improving the management system of state media, which, in turn, will increase the efficiency of content production and distribution.
As part of this resolution, the Regulations on the state institution 'Information and Publishing House 'Kyrgyz Tuusu', the staffing levels, and the qualification requirements for employees were also approved.
The structure of the new media association includes: the nationwide newspaper 'Kyrgyz Tuusu', the nationwide newspaper 'Word of Kyrgyzstan', the children's magazine 'Baichchekey', and the literary and artistic magazine 'Ala-Too'.
