K.M.'s lawyers submitted two motions during the hearing, which were granted. The defense pointed out the health condition of their client and that the charges fall under the category of less serious crimes. The court agreed with the defense's arguments. Recordings from the body cameras of the police officers involved in the arrest have been sent to Bishkek for acoustic and phonoscopic examinations.

According to the investigation, police officers arrived at K.M.'s home regarding alimony and during the check found "a plant with a characteristic smell," which served as the basis for initiating a criminal case.
The suspect's relatives doubt the impartiality of the initial investigative actions. K.M.'s wife claims that psychological pressure was exerted on her husband to force him to confess in exchange for a lighter sentence, while his sister notes procedural violations. Neighbors and acquaintances also assure that K.M. has never been involved in criminal activity.
Despite the serious charges, K.M.'s relatives view the process positively, emphasizing the professionalism and objectivity of the judge, who decided to carefully review the recordings from the video registrars. It is expected that the judicial proceedings will resume after receiving official conclusions from Bishkek.
