The founder of the Old Bishkek project, Nariman Tyuleev, announced the need to revise and change the concept in accordance with the needs of citizens.
He noted that this decision was a result of public dissatisfaction and recommendations from the country's leadership.
“Kamchybek Tashiev, the chairman of the State National Security Committee, pointed out that some aspects of the project require revision. In particular, it is necessary to reconsider issues related to the demolition of the third floor and the expansion of the roadway. All these comments will be taken into account, and the necessary changes will be made. If there were mistakes in our approach, we apologize. The opinion of the people is a priority for us, and the project will be reworked accordingly,” he added.
According to him, the road will have six lanes, three on each side. If weather conditions permit, the completion of the work is planned for this year; however, if not, construction will be postponed until next year. Nevertheless, traffic on the new road will be opened on December 12,” Tyuleev emphasized.
