The bronze horses and fountain, which were temporarily dismantled due to construction, will be returned to their usual places. This was reported by Nariman Tyuleev in an interview with the Kabar agency.
In addition, he noted that the area will be further landscaped, and new trees will be planted there.
The construction of a modern complex on Chuy Avenue began in March, which led to the closure of the road for a period of 7 to 8 months. It is expected that the project will be fully completed and put into operation from December 24 to early January.
“After completion, the project will become the ‘Kyrgyz Monte Carlo,’” added Tyuleev.
The fountain complex in front of the “Aichurek” Central Department Store with a herd of bronze horses was created for the 25th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence. These fountains, which appeared in Bishkek 49 years ago, have become a symbolic place for many generations of city residents who know this spot as ideal for meetings, dates, and friendly gatherings.
