The director of the state enterprise "Kyrgyzpharmacia," Talant Sultanov, recently stated in an interview with the "Kabar" agency about plans to expand the range of medicines in the pharmacy network "El Aman."
He noted that work in this direction is already actively underway.
Sultanov acknowledged that there are limitations in the selection of medicines in some pharmacies of the network. "We are taking steps to address this issue. Negotiations are ongoing with major manufacturers from India, China, and Russia. Previously, contracts were signed separately for each batch, but now we are striving to conclude long-term agreements," he added.
Additionally, Sultanov emphasized the importance of increasing the number of pharmaceutical manufacturing plants in Kyrgyzstan.
"We are focusing on expanding domestic production of medicines, which will help reduce prices and make medications more accessible to the population in the future," he concluded.
