Nariman Tyuleyev, the owner of the "Old Bishkek" complex, commented on the public discontent that arose as a result of the large-scale construction, which sparked heated discussions among the capital's residents. His statement was a response to the criticism that erupted on social media.

According to the former mayor, citizens are making premature conclusions about the appearance and quality of the new facility.

“Let me finish the work. If you are dissatisfied later, I will redo everything. But first, let me complete it,” Tyuleyev stated.

He also added that significant amounts of work have already been completed at the construction site: concrete has been poured, granite has been delivered, and decorative shrubs have been planted.

“I will create something here similar to Monte Carlo, just wait a little,” he noted in response to residents' comments about the disorganized landscaping.

Previously, Tyuleyev claimed that the project would resemble "Times Square, Bishkek style."

“I have traveled to many countries and want to use this experience here. Just wait a couple of months. You will enjoy walking here day and night. We have created a separate space below. When the construction is completed, you will see everything for yourself,” he added.

Currently, construction work is ongoing.
