At just 13 years old, Aynazik is in the 5th grade of the komuz department at the Children's Art School named after J. Sheraliyev in the At-Bashy district. A Turmush correspondent met with her to discuss her creative journey and dreams.
As of today, Aynazik has mastered about 15-20 musical pieces. Her repertoire includes well-known folk kuyis such as "Zhash tolkun," "Zhash kerbes," and "Köyrön kүü." She strives not only to perform them but also to understand their deep meaning.
She is inspired by the life path of the great composer Toktogul Satylganov. Aynazik explores the background of his works and sees them as a model to follow. "Thanks to the komuz, I have participated in competitions and visited different places. I have been to Bishkek twice and once performed at a competition there alone, which makes me very happy. I have also performed a lot on the stages of the Naryn region," she shares.
These trips have become not only a source of experience for Aynazik but have also strengthened her self-confidence.
For her, the komuz is not just an instrument, but a way to express her inner world. "Playing the komuz, I express my feelings. I practice a lot both at school and at home. At family celebrations, I always play for my relatives. When they invite guests, I am always asked to perform," she shares.
She also notes the important role of her parents, teachers, and loved ones in her successes. "I am very grateful to my parents and teachers who always support me. They help with the payment of my education and provide moral support, inspiring me to improve," says Aynazik.
According to her, merely having the desire is not enough to achieve mastery in playing the komuz.
