During his working trip, the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, visited several hospitals in Bishkek and the Chui region. This was reported by the press service of the government.

The purpose of the visit was to observe the construction process of new medical facility buildings and identify issues with their material and technical support.

The inspection began at the Kyrgyz Scientific Center for Human Reproduction, where Kasymaliev was presented with the project for a new modern building. He emphasized that the protection of reproductive health is a strategic priority. Kasymaliev instructed the relevant ministries to expedite the development of project and estimate documentation and identify funding sources to commence work.

Next, the Prime Minister's attention was drawn to the Bishkek City Children's Clinical Emergency Hospital. Here, he expressed dissatisfaction with the delays in the construction of a new building, which was supposed to improve the working conditions of the hospital.

“Delays in the construction of healthcare facilities, especially for children, are unacceptable. This concerns the safety and health of our children. The work must be completed by June of this year. I will personally come to check the progress. If deadlines are missed, there will be serious consequences,” noted Kasymaliev.

Control over the completion of construction has been assigned to the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, Azamat Kadyraliev, who is to ensure daily monitoring of the work pace.

During the visit to Bishkek City Multidisciplinary Clinical Hospital No. 2, serious problems were identified. Despite the fact that some blocks were built back in 2022, they are not functioning properly due to a lack of necessary medical equipment. Problems also arose during the transfer of institutions from the mayor's office to the Ministry of Health.

Kasymaliev instructed the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance to urgently present proposals for equipping the hospital with the necessary equipment and completing all work by April of this year. He emphasized that he himself would check the results of this instruction within the specified timeframe.

Concluding his trip, Kasymaliev visited the Chui Regional Unified Hospital named after E. Akramov, which is one of the busiest in the region. Here, up to 18,000 patients are treated annually, about 6,000 surgeries are performed, and up to 6,000 births are attended.

The Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Health and other relevant agencies to consider the possibility of constructing a new building on the territory of the ChUOH to create a modern medical cluster.

As a result of the visit, a number of instructions were given to the relevant agencies and the Bishkek mayor's office for the prompt resolution of identified issues and coordination of efforts in the field of healthcare modernization.
