Japarov to the deputy about the judges' curators from the GKNB: Does the name Su laymankulov mean anything to you?
She noted that courts often made hasty decisions under pressure from curators from the GKNB. "Can we put an end to this practice?" the deputy asked.
In response, President Japarov asked if she could name specific curators, mentioning the names "Manas" and "Almambet," and added: "Does the name Sulaymankulov mean anything to you?"
Kozhokulova admitted that she did not know the names, but judges themselves claim to have been under curatorship.
The president noted that such practices did indeed exist in the past, but they have now been stopped. "Everyone must fulfill their duties. There were instances when the head of the presidential administration acted as a curator, and prosecutors, judges, and the police worked in tandem. But that is in the past. I have given strict instructions to ensure that this does not happen again," he added.
The deputy expressed hope for the reform of the judicial system.
Japarov also noted that he has a chat involving several judges, and some of them report pressure being exerted on them to make certain decisions. "I summon them and try to resolve the issues that arise," the president added.
