Three Men Detained for Illegal Fishing at Issyk-Kul: 39 Zander Fish Seized

On March 12, during evening raids to detain violators of fishing legislation in the Issyk-Kul water area, employees of the tourism and environmental police discovered illegal activities, as reported by the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region.

According to the agency's information, three men from Karakol were detained on the shore of the lake in the village of Toguz-Bulak in the Tyup district. They went out on inflatable boats and were engaged in fishing without the necessary permits. Their identities have been established: Ch.U., born in 1986, M.R., born in 1977, and A.E., born in 1975.

During the inspection, 39 pike-perches were seized from the detainees, which became physical evidence in this case.

This incident has been registered in the unified register of crimes of the Tyup District Internal Affairs Department, and a criminal case has been initiated against the detainees under Article 310 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the detainees have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Tyup District Internal Affairs Department as suspects.

Investigative actions are ongoing.
