In Bishkek, the reform of bus stations continues, aimed at improving passenger service for those traveling east and west. Comfortable zones have been created for all categories of citizens, including people with disabilities. The operation of taxis has also been optimized, which helps to relieve the city's streets. Transport accessibility is ensured by the existing network of municipal routes. Local authorities emphasize that these changes are aimed at improving service quality and simplifying movement for both city residents and intercity passengers. In 2024, the Ministry of Transport and Communications transferred the management of bus stations to the Bishkek City Hall, which tasked municipal services with significantly improving passenger service.
Isa Usubaliev, director of the Municipal Enterprise "Bishkek Bus Station," informed the Kabar agency that the structure of the enterprise includes the branch "Chygys Avtobeketi" and the ticket office "Ak-Kula," serving eastern and western routes.

“This will help to relieve the section of Jibek-Jolu Avenue from Osmonkul Street to the Alamedin market. The work has just begun. We will completely asphalt the area, install lighting, mark the roads, and place traffic signs,” added Isa Usubaliev.
