Previously, such work was performed by third-party contractors, and the enterprise was forced to hold competitions to attract other companies due to a lack of its own equipment.
“All this time we relied on the services of contracting organizations and attracted them on a contractual basis, as we lacked our own machinery,” he noted.
With the commissioning of new equipment, "Kyrgyz Komur" has been able to significantly reduce costs and take on the majority of the work, which has also decreased dependence on external contractors.
Over the past two years, excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks, and loaders have been purchased. In addition, last year the enterprise acquired crew transport vehicles, buses, water trucks, quarry dump trucks, graders, fuel tankers, and drilling rigs. Also among the new acquisitions are three sorting complexes for coal processing.
In total, about 76 units of equipment and vehicles have been purchased so far. These acquisitions became possible thanks to the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers, under which a decision was also made to limit the supply of small coal to the Chui-Bishkek region.
The ceremony for the transfer of equipment was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev.
In 2026, "Kyrgyz Komur" plans to continue updating its fleet of equipment through leasing, including the purchase of excavators, loaders, bulldozers, dump trucks, and coal carriers. A request for funding over 1 billion soms is anticipated.
According to Sadyraliev, the majority of the equipment is purchased in China, considering the optimal price-quality ratio.
