As reported by Mehr, over a million Iranian citizens have been mobilized in connection with the potential start of a U.S. ground operation against Iran. The New York Times has also confirmed that a decision to conduct such an operation has been made.

While a group of Republicans in Congress left a closed briefing on the situation in Iran, criticizing the actions of the Trump administration, according to the Daily Mail, lawmakers expressed dissatisfaction and stated that plans were being made without Congressional approval.

According to sources, three key tasks were discussed at the meeting: capturing the strategically important island of Khark, destroying nuclear materials, and changing the ruling regime.

Congresswoman Nancy Mace noted in her comments on X that the information presented at the briefing does not align with the official justifications for war, and the chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Mike Rogers, added: "We are simply not getting enough answers."

Meanwhile, hopes for internal protests in Iran are gradually fading, as Israel and the U.S. believe that the Iranian regime maintains control over the situation, as reported by The Wall Street Journal. Against this backdrop, Israel has ceased strikes on internal power structures and focused on weakening Iran's military capabilities.

According to Donald Trump's statement, the U.S. has suspended strikes on Iran's energy facilities until April 6, emphasizing that negotiations between Tehran and Washington are progressing successfully.

Pakistani intelligence informed the U.S. about possible Israeli plans to eliminate Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi and Speaker of Parliament Ghalibaf, which could derail peace negotiations, Reuters reports. Pakistan urged Americans to pressure Israel to prevent attacks on these officials, stressing that eliminating these individuals would make negotiations impossible.

Amid ongoing tensions, hopes for internal uprisings in Iran are fading, and in Israel and the U.S. believe that the Iranian regime remains stable, which is also confirmed by information from The Wall Street Journal.
